Structured Finance Transactions Senior Specialist

Location: Warsaw – 2 days office / 3 days remote

The Structured Finance Team specializes in addressing the varying needs of market participants in the securitization marketplace across asset classes. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast‑paced transaction business, support diverse engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients and lead business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform agreed‑upon procedures (AUP) to help clients execute securitization transactions successfully.
  • Check the accuracy of financial models by comparing calculations to governing documents.
  • Create cash flow/analytics models for securitized products, including but not limited to CDOs/CLOs.
  • Conduct transaction modeling and analytics, including cash flow modeling, recalculating collateral quality and concentration limits set out in each transaction’s indenture, and building waterfall, fee and hedging structures.
  • Construct independent cash flow and collateral models for various structured products using Microsoft Excel.
  • Create and update detailed AUP reports summarizing results.
  • Interpret prospectus/indenture information and deal structural features, including collateral, waterfall, triggers, hedges, paydown rules, loss allocation rules, and extract pertinent information.
  • Analyze complex Excel and third‑party models (Bloomberg, rating agency portals, Markit, etc.) for valuation of structured products.
  • Demonstrate in‑depth technical capabilities, remain current on new developments in advisory services, and work with front‑office investment banking clients daily.
  • Review loan documents and data reviews on loan files, recalculating fields and running exception reports to tie out with clients.
  • Create collateral stratification tables to assess loan pool characteristics.
  • Review offering documents for accuracy, completeness and conformity with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and work on large client portfolios, assessing risk for different asset types.
  • Value structured products (RMBS, CMBS, CLOs, etc.) using third‑party models (Bloomberg, Moody’s, Intex, etc.).
  • Extract pricing information on fixed‑income securities from EY internal research tools and external vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Approximately 2 years of related work experience.
  • Excellent prioritization skills with a commitment to meeting client deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for report writing, client presentations and interactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility and willingness to work additional hours when necessary to meet client deadlines.
  • Willingness to work shift‑based schedules as required.
  • Prior structured finance experience (ideal).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good business acumen and ability to assimilate new knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
