Structural Lead Engineer – Subsea Manifolds Systems

Typical tasks and defined responsibilities

  • Structural verification of manifolds and their foundations
  • Create necessary structural design reports and drawings
  • Be part of a design team within manifold system projects
  • Work with other engineers and management to develop design concepts
  • Contribute to team effort to meet project milestones and needs
  • Consider safety, quality, cost, and manufacturability in designs

Essential Responsibilities

  • Establish technical requirements based on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards
  • Lead and contribute to design development activities such as CAD modelling and documentation creation, ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule
  • Work cross‑functionally with other engineers and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables
  • Present analyses and design outcomes in design reviews when needed
  • Provide engineering support to program management
  • Support the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing, and testing of designed products

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Good understanding of materials, strength, and production processes
  • Robust mechanical design background
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility
  • Good oral and written communication skills, fluent in English
  • Results oriented
