The Hansen Polska company is looking for a candidate for the position: Structural engineer.

Structural engineer

Key Responsibilities

• •Reviewing shop drawings for structural and code compliance
• •Preparing structural analysis and calculation packages – both at tender stage and during detailed design (post contract)
• •Developing structural designs for building facades
• •Collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met
• •Providing optimised solutions. Many issues will require creative thinking to determine the best solution for the project/business as a whole
• •Optimising profile design and establishing ‘design parameters’ for system details to be able to be applied quickly across different projects
• •Help to build and ultimately lead the structural engineering team at Hansen Facades

Requirements

• •Relevant Engineering degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or a related field
• •Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facade engineering industry as a structural engineer
• •Proficiency in structural analysis software – 2d, 3d, and FEA
• •Ability to work in a hybrid and remote environment
• •Ability to work effectively on multiple projects
• •Fluency in the Polish/English language
• •Knowledge and experience of using British and EN standards and norms, Building Regulations and CWCT standards
