STRUCTURAL DESIGNER

Key responsibilities (not limited to):

• To identify and implement safe, cost effective, fit for purpose, field proven designs,
• To provide support and technical interface with all other discipline engineers, subcontractors and vendors.
• To meet the requirements of the agreed schedule identified within the project plan for the structural deliverables.
• Detailed design of steel structures.
• Responsible for preparing of discipline design deliverables, specifications, drawings, packages and technical procedures.
• Verification of Vendor documentation.
• Preparation of work descriptions and work package documentation required for offshore installation, mechanical completion and commissioning activities.
• Prepare requisitions for bill of materials required for offshore installation.
• On request participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) on Vendor site.

Experience:

• Master’s degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experienced user of Aveva E3D, AutoCAD, Inventor, Microstation
• Minimum 3 years of experience in designing steel structures (preferable gained in Offshore Oil & Gas or similar industry)
• Experience in design acc to Eurocode / NORSOK standards
