Accenture Poland is looking for a Strategy Consultant to join our Industry Strategy – Resources team, working across Utilities, Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and Natural Resources.
The Work
- Join our Strategy practice as part of Industry Strategy – Resources team and play a key role in shaping the future of leading organizations.
- Work side by side with global, cross‑functional teams to design and deliver strategies that transform businesses and drive real impact.
- Lead strategic engagements from problem framing and analysis to solution design and implementation.
- Advise senior executives and stakeholders, delivering insights that shape critical business decisions.
- Bring fresh thinking and creativity to projects, helping clients shape bold visions and execute change with confidence.
- Combine qualitative insights and quantitative analysis to uncover opportunities and turn data into actionable strategies.
- Shape growth and market strategies, including new‑business entry, product launches, and competitive positioning.
- Drive cost transformation and profitability initiatives, identifying opportunities to reinvest savings into innovation and growth.
- Support transaction and M&A projects, from commercial due diligence to post‑merger integration planning.
- Help organizations rethink how they operate—design and optimise operating models and organisational structures.
- Apply data‑driven insights, digital tools, and AI solutions to accelerate decision‑making and innovation.
- Create high‑impact deliverables such as C‑suite presentations, strategic roadmaps, and action‑oriented playbooks.
Priority Skills
Strategy consulting experience within Industry Strategy – Resources, and/or expertise in Corporate Strategy & Growth, Cost & Profitability Reinvention, Operating Model & Organisation Design, Transaction Advisory (M&A) or Sustainability.
Requirements
- Strong academic background with a Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, economics, or related fields; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience (Utilities, Energy / Oil and Gas, Chemicals, and Natural Resources) or professional experience in strategy consulting.
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to transform complex data into clear recommendations.
- Curiosity and drive to work across different strategy topics (growth, operating models, cost transformation, transactions, industry‑specific challenges, or sustainability).
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders and diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects or workstreams, delivering high‑quality outcomes under tight timelines.
- Familiarity with strategy frameworks, consulting methodologies, and digital/AI‑enabled approaches.
- A collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills, thriving in multicultural and cross‑border teams.
- Fluency in English and German or French (spoken and written) is required; other European languages are highly valued.
- Flexibility to travel and work on client sites when needed.
Bonus Points
- Experience with digital tools, AI/ML solutions, or advanced analytics in business strategy.
- International experience or exposure to global, cross‑border projects.
- Strong storytelling skills, turning data into compelling client narratives.
