Strategic Sourcing Analyst provides global support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Key compliance areas including RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, FMD, and other industrial compliance requirements. Additionally, this position leads and develops sustainability initiatives within the procurement organization.
Your Main Tasks
- Lead compliance tracking processes as team leader and BU coordinator with global procurement compliance projects.
- Provide quick access to compliance status for all areas (RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, etc.) by region and commodity.
- Train team members on compliance subjects and key resources.
- Lead annual compliance champions and achieve defined targets.
- Lead and resolve customer requests on FMD and other industrial compliance topics.
- Coordinate among PM, Sales, PE and sourcing team to feed procured PN compliance to FN requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of supplier compliance contacts through SSU and supplier portal.
- Train suppliers in using the supplier portal for compliance data feed.
- Maintain regular communication with supplier compliance leads to ensure all product compliance data are provided to TE timely & accurately.
- Provide supplier leads with compliance status during supplier quarterly business review for evaluation and escalations.
- Implement procedures on sustainability within the procurement organization aligned with global & local standards.
- Lead development & execution of the Scope 3 emissions reduction roadmap across key direct material categories.
- Assess & monitor suppliers environmental and social performance.
- Conduct sustainability risk assessments for key suppliers and commodities.
- Stay up to date with global sustainability trends, regulations, & best practices.
Your Ideal Background
- 7 years experience in procurement, including 3 years in sustainability area.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving & analytical abilities.
- Solid understanding of data, analytics & insights application.
- Strong customer focus, solution‑oriented attitude & continuous improvement mindset.
- Technical knowledge of production processes and their impact on sustainability.
- Experience working in a matrix environment with multicultural teams.
- Critical thinking & curiosity.
- Fluent English (written & spoken); local language a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
