Strategic Purchaser (m/w/d)

Your Profile

• Technical or commercial training with further specialist training and / or a Bachelors or Masters degree with an economic/technical focus.
• Experience in strategic purchasing of raw materials, semi‑finished products and parts.
• Knowledge and experience in category and supplier management.
• Negotiation skills.
• Structured way of working in the preparation and implementation of tenders.
• Flexibility, motivation and commitment as well as willingness to travel occasionally.
• High level of self‑drive to identify potential for optimisation and savings.
• Very good communication skills.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.
• Experience in working with SAP is an advantage.
• Confident use of MS Office programmes.

Your Responsibilities

• Independent strategic purchasing in the area of plastic moulded or extruded parts, insulation, casted parts, turned parts, metal anchors.
• Analyzing the assigned material groups and deriving and implementing a suitable product group strategy.
• Independently conducting price negotiations.
• Collaboration in Group‑wide international purchasing initiatives and coordination of global sourcing activities.
• Collaboration with product management to structure the Leviat product portfolio.
• Further development and optimisation of purchasing processes and handling.
• Market observation and supplier selection.
• Creating and analysing supplier evaluations.
• Conducting annual meetings with suppliers.
