For our client in the banking industry we are looking for a person to fill the position of Strategic Ledger Tester Service - Controller. The team to which this person will be assigned performs checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports for Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Africa (more than 50 countries),
Provide analytical information to business partners on all financial related inquiries and participate in system transformation, control and reporting improvement projects.

What we expect

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or related field is required,
• 4-5+ years of relevant work experience with global corporations and financial services
• experience gained in Banking or in an associated consulting role,
• Significant experience with implementation of complex reporting solutions to support both group-wide and local financial, regulatory and management reporting processes,
  Understanding of General Ledger and Chart of Accounts design concepts, Data Governanceconcepts, US GAAP, IFRS and Local GAAP standards.
  Pro-active problem-solver, highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented,organized. Good understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and
  techniques.
• Product knowledge of simple loan and deposits products will be beneficial, but not required.
• Candidate will be trained on products and system setups before performing testing.

Your tasks

• Work closely with key finance Finance and project Project stakeholders to understandbusiness and functional requirements,
• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for the Strategic Ledger, and product rollout into production for Services Controllers organization,
• Execute test scripts according to application requirements documentation,
• Identifies Identify defects and recommends appropriate course of action; perform root cause analysis, in collaboration with the Projects team and Controller SMEs
• Retest after corrections issues are fixed, are made to ensure problems are resolved,
• Actively communicates UAT testing progress/status with Controllers and other stakeholders.
