About Our Client
Our Client is an international company operating in the industrial sector, located in Strzelin.
Job Description
- Purchase goods, materials, and services in line with company policies and business needs.
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms to achieve savings and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and potential risks (financial, legal, sustainability).
- Manage tenders, RFQs/RFPs, and support procurement projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure continuous supply of materials and resolve issues with price, quality, or delivery.
- Collaborate with global procurement and internal stakeholders to implement sourcing strategies.
- Control purchasing costs (PPV), supplier price lists, payment terms, and invoices.
- Prepare procurement reports, analyses, and updates for management.
- Drive process improvements and support business performance through efficient sourcing.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement (preferably in categories such as castings, fabrication, machining, mechanical seals, valves, bearings, couplings, mechanical/electrical hardware).
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and result orientation.
- High level of accuracy, diligence, and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Good English (other languages are an advantage).
- Skilled in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), ERP systems, and procurement tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong teamwork, proactiveness, and ability to work in multicultural environments.
- Excellent negotiation skills and professional supplier relationship management.
- Organized and efficient, with strong project and time management abilities.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with ability to challenge and optimize supply chains and processes.
