Our Client is a global manufacturer of ingredients for the confectionery and bakery industries.
Strategic BuyerMiejsce pracy: Bielsko-Biala
Responsibilities:
- Involvement in development of global purchaising strategy.
- Co-develop and carry out sourcing strategies and cost saving plans with stakeholders in key categories.
- Optimize current material portfolio.
- Optimize the global supplier portfolio focusing on risk assessment and cost down to secure our strong market position.
- Proactively supporting development of new products.
- Create, develop, optimize and maintain good and effective supplier relations.
Requirements:
- Preferably has a bachelor´s or masters degree, in Supply Chain/Procurement.
- Have a minimum of three years’ experience within strategic procurement. It would be an advantage to have experience from food manufacturing industry or a FMCG procurement organization.
- Thrive with interdisciplinary collaboration, and your impact and strong communicative skills ensure the successful implementation of cost optimization projects.
- Is a team player and understands the importance of cross-functional collaboration with a focus on optimization in an internationally based company.
- Is proactive and energetic – eager to create strong and measurable results.
- Meets tasks with a structured and responsible approach.
- Fluency in English, both in verbal and written form.
- Has experience with ERP systems.
