• Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with policies, needs, costs, quality, and delivery targets.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications and Xylems global strategies and policies.
• Work with local and global procurement teams to define and implement procurement strategies.
• Develop ideas and strategies to enhance operational efficiency, add value, and support continuous improvement.
• Identify needs, handle product/service changes, and assist in achieving business goals.
• Stay updated on changes affecting supply and demand, evaluate suppliers, and explore cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform supplier evaluations, conduct tenders, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
• Address supply issues, resolve disputes, and ensure uninterrupted delivery of goods and materials.
• Ensure adherence to purchasing policies, manage PPV, and maintain control over vendor pricing and invoices.
• Optimize payment terms, inventory agreements, and supply replenishment strategies.
• Deliver briefs, reports, and updates on procurement projects and performance as required.
