About the role
We are looking for a people‑oriented, passionate leader – a Store Manager who will partner with us to recruit and build a diverse & inclusive team for the first lululemon store in Warsaw.
Reporting directly to the Europe Retail Director, based in Amsterdam, the successful candidate brings at least five years of retail experience managing a team and will be responsible for every aspect of the store’s performance.
As Store Manager you will create an environment and store culture where people feel a deep sense of belonging and have the opportunity to grow, ensuring a world‑class guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment, celebrating differences.
- Establish a vision for the store based on key metrics and initiatives, cascading it to all team members.
- Manage the store’s hiring strategy to build a strong and diverse team.
- Support ongoing learning and development, providing feedback, coaching, mentoring and performance management.
- Address employee concerns and issues, partnering with internal support when appropriate.
- Maintain optimal guest experience through daily floor presence and team direction.
- Lead exceptional client experience with product education and coaching.
- Build brand awareness in the community and cultivate relationships with local ambassadors and influencers.
- Plan and execute local, regional, and area‑driven community projects.
- Plan floor coverage and make decisions to maintain operational efficiency.
- Drive visual merchandising, product strategy and execute company‑driven initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and organizing product deliveries.
- Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with policies and regulations.
Requirements & qualifications
- Fluent in Polish and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Minimum ten years of experience in retail or a service‑oriented industry, with at least five years leading and managing people.
- Strong ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams.
- Goal‑orientated, innovative, and results‑focused.
- Agile and able to make effective, timely decisions.
- Integrity and trust; behaves honestly, fairly and ethically.
- Valid Schengen working visa or work permit for Poland.
Other aspects
The role requires flexibility in working hours, schedules and availability as per local labor law or collective agreements.
