About the project
Salary: 800 - 1000 PLN/day on B2B
Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)
We’re looking for a Storage Engineer who will play a key role in both daily operations and project work. You will be working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, so we value a strong team player who is open-minded, curious, and ready to take on new challenges.
Your responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise storage solutions in Unix and Linux environments
- Working with leading-edge storage technologies, including evaluating and testing new solutions in cooperation with industry-leading vendors
- Participating in project work related to storage platforms, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
- Handling daily operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and incident resolution within storage and SAN environments
- Collaborating closely with team members and other technical teams to ensure stable and efficient storage services
Our requirements
- Solid experience with Unix and Linux environments, including storage and virtual storage solutions
- Hands-on knowledge of enterprise storage platforms such as NetApp ONTAP, Hitachi storage systems, Hitachi HNAS (or equivalent solutions), and IBM SAN Volume Controller (SVC)
- Experience with SAN infrastructures, including Brocade SAN switches and, ideally, Cisco MDS SAN switches
- Strong general technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- A team-oriented, open-minded, and curious mindset, with a willingness to go the extra mile when needed
