Job Description:

• Prepare statutory annual accounts for assigned entities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and coordination with external auditors.
• Support tax return preparation and assist the Tax department with Corporate Income Tax calculations.
• Handle month-end closing activities, including revaluation, exchange difference analysis, and monthly reporting.
• Analyse and reconcile GL accounts and cost centres, including Payroll accounting.
• Assist with quarterly implementation and maintenance of internal controls for key accounting processes, ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Prepare reports for work councils and perform statistical reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and work on ad hoc projects.
• Conduct SOX control activities and identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of accounting experience (GL or RtR), ideally in an international environment.
• Experience in preparing annual financial statements is ideal; partial experience is acceptable.
• Fluent knowledge of Dutch & English language.
• At least a Bachelors degree in accounting or finance, preferably a Masters.
• Knowledge of another language will be an additional asset.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SAP preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
