Position Overview

Lead a regional Center of Excellence (COE) responsible for statutory financial statements and direct tax across multiple countries. Youll standardize country processes, own US GAAP and local statutory tax accounting, coordinate external providers, ensure timely filings, and drive automation and SOX‑compliant controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead country process mapping and drive standardization across the region.
• Own direct tax accounting under US GAAP and local statutory for all entities.
• Coordinate external tax service providers and align with Global Tax Reporting.
• Oversee SFS and the full tax cycle, including auditor requests and tax/statutory audits.
• Ensure on‑time statutory and direct tax filings and internal/external reporting (incl. monthly close).
• Manage the COE team (supervisor, seniors, staff) for statutory and tax matters.
• Secure accurate data and coordinate final reviews of direct tax returns with providers.
• Ensure accurate SFS via data validation and coordinated reviews across countries.
• Partner with FP&A, Transfer Pricing, Treasury, Accounting, Public Reporting, and Legal.
• Monitor income tax payments and related tax payable accounts.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities with local team coordination.
• Provide documentation for US/local tax departments and local SFS requirements.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of relevant experience in manager‑level roles.
• Experience in income tax returns, indirect tax, or statutory accounting.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Proven leadership of people and processes.
