We’re looking for a Statutory & IFRS/ Record To Report Lead Accountant to join our FSC RTR Team. In this role you’ll be responsible for correct statutory and IFRS reporting for European entities.

What You’ll Do
- Ensure correct statutory and IFRS reporting for European entities in scope.
- Keeps updated with changes on statutory & tax rules and regulations; assesses business impact.
- Ensures that non-recurring transactions are properly accounted for, documented, properly stored and that they pass their audit reviews.
- Establishes (local) policies & procedures for statutory accounting & reporting, including statutory accounts.
- Managing and producing the statutory financial information for the annual report and accounts.
- Coordinating statutory audits and engaging with external auditors.
- Supporting in tax compliance for European entities in scope, including involvement in tax accounting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for CIT and other local taxes.
- Preparation of tax schedules, calculations and commentary for internal (group) reporting.
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of tax submissions and disclosures.
- Assisting in documenting, maintaining, and implementing transfer pricing policies and procedures.
- Support the Regional Statutory & Indirect tax Manager in improving and standardizing processes within the Statutory and Regulatory environment.
- Designs & adjusts statutory processes, procedures, document flow & controls.
- Work closely with Financial Controller in respect of IFRS and Statutory accounting processes.
Your Qualifications
- Finance background (Masters degree minimum, ACCA or equivalent will be considered as additional asset).
- You have at least 5 years of experience, ideally in a multinational and in a complex matrix organization.
- You are familiar with specifics of local tax and statutory accounting.
- You have well-developed planning and organizational skills and meet deadlines.
- You are an excellent communicator and able to clearly communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
- You have experience in working across multiple levels, functions, regions and third parties in a manner that will professionally represent the department.
- You have practical knowledge in the field of IFRS.
- You are fluent in English.
- Workiva knowledge will be perceived as additional asset.
- SAP knowledge.
