Your new role/What you will be doing

• Shape and develop services using Ruby on Rails and TypeScript.
• Engage in brainstorming, designing, prototyping, and programming within an agile setup.
• Resolve complex reliability issues at scale, demonstrating expertise across the technology stack.
• Foster a deep understanding of the product and promote a customer-centric approach within the team.
• Lead, mentor, and teach colleagues at various career levels, sharing advanced insights and encouraging continuous improvement.
• Communicate complex changes, strategies, and technical decisions to stakeholders with clarity and consideration.
• Guide the team in exploring architectural strategies through consensus-based decision-making and documenting decisions.

What you39ll need to succeed

• Over 6 years of experience in writing and maintaining services in Ruby on Rails and TypeScript.
• Strong engineering and architectural experience with extensive knowledge in systems design.
• Ability to lead a project through its execution while knowing when to consult with others.
• Capability to mentor and lead engineers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Experience with observability tools to ensure system reliability at scale.
• Open-minded and inclusive mentality towards colleagues and work.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Bachelor39s or Master39s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of how LLMs and Content Management Systems work.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and event sourcing.
• Experience in developing and operating high-volume, high-availability environments.
• Experience with container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Contributor to or owner of open-source projects.
