• We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global innovator in fitness and wellness technology. Their mission is to empower people to live fit, strong, long, and happy lives by delivering integrated experiences to millions of members anytime, anywhere.
• As a Staff Software Engineer (with Kotlin/Java), you will play a key role in a cross-functional engineering team, shaping, scaling, and delivering robust e-commerce applications. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with mentoring engineers, driving technical excellence, and providing impactful solutions.
• Stack: Kotlin/Java, cloud experience, technical leadership experience
• Salary: 30 000 PLN - 38 000 PLN gross on the Contract of Employment
• Working model: Hybrid - 3 days/week from the office

• Lead the architecture, scalability, and performance of e-commerce applications.
• Drive clean, maintainable, and performant systems using best practices.
• Contribute hands-on to the codebase when needed and guide technical discussions.
• Set technical strategy anticipating future platform needs.
• Partner with Product, Design, UX, and Program Management to align goals and deliver roadmap objectives.
• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders to balance product and technical priorities.
• Identify dependencies and remove blockers across engineering, design, and product.
• Promote engineering efficiency, automation, and re-use through design patterns and modern practices.
• Define and measure KPIs to track team performance and business impact.
• Advocate for code quality and continuous learning through reviews, design docs, and knowledge-sharing.

• 5+ years of software development experience, with commercial deployments in production.
• Strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin and modern backend ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of agile, lean, and DevOps principles.
• Strong interpersonal skills with empathy for engineers, customers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluent English, to drive alignment and clarity across teams.
• Passion for technology, elegant code, and innovative problem-solving.
