Join our B2BCore portfolio team to develop a new technical platform offering capabilities such as authentication, user management, messaging, payments, frontend platform, and data platform. As a Staff Developer, you will lead technical initiatives, craft intricate architectures, and make pivotal system design decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Mastery: Lead the design of robust solutions, apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles, and continuously refine your architectural skills
• Collaborative Leadership: Partner with team managers to ensure robust architectures, scalable designs, and judicious toolset selections
• Strategic Alignment: Align technical endeavours with business goals, participate in product planning, and offer insights into architectural strategies
• Guidance and Empowerment: Mentor team members, foster a culture of continuous learning, and enable team success through design and code reviews

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Java projects
• Practice in system/project design (Event Storming, Story Mapping, C4)
• Knowledge about BDD and DDD
• Practical knowledge in modern architecture design patterns where coding principles, archetypes and decision making on daily basis
• Experience working with async communication (e.g. RabbitMQ, SNS,SQS, Apache Kafka)
• Experience working with containerized cloud environment (preferred AWS)
• Experience working with Infarstruture as Code and SQL, NoSQL Dbs
• Strong knowledge about Java (17+) and Spring frameworks
• Strong knowledge about Test Pyramid (Unit, Component, Integration, E2E)
• Demonstrated ability to think critically, communicate assertively, and coach team members

Nice to have:

• Knowledge about Enterprise monitoring/alerting systems (Datadog, Dynatrace)
• Familiarity with Event Driven Architectures (Event Sourcing, Event Streaming, CQRS)
• Experience integrating with 3rd party Identity Providers (IdP) – ideally Auth0
