In this role, you will work with the Data Lineage team. The Dataplex Lineage team develops an API, UI, and job log processing to track and visualize the transformations between data assets of GCP customers. The derived lineage graph is a key enabler for business analysts and data engineers to debug issues in data processing pipelines and tracking data for compliance purposes. Your responsibilities Work with Product Management and Leadership to define and influence product outlook and strategy, lay out a technical path to achieve it. Plan and oversee the technical initiatives. Support and grow technical talent on the team. Coordinate and align with other technical leaders in the organization. Identify, pitch, and nurture new opportunities to use technology to help our customers achieve their goals and differentiate Google Cloud platform. Our requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development. Optional Experience with system design and API development. Experience with designing, developing, and validating Generative AI applications. Knowledge of data governance and data lineage topics. Excellent communication skills.
