Who are we looking for?
The company seeks an experienced Architect Staff Software Engineer to join the Supply team. In this role, the individual will provide essential technology expertise to support the Supply Division, with a primary focus on architectural design and system development, particularly defining the structure of the NEXUS project. The Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams, offering strategic guidance on system architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability. This role is key in shaping the technological foundation and vision for the supply systems, fostering innovation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Expertise: Serve as the primary technology and subject matter expert across all major teams in Invia Group, guiding the strategic direction of our technological developments.
- Product Development Lifecycle: Support the entire product development cycle, from identifying customer needs to designing and implementing solutions that meet these requirements.
- Solution Design: Lead the creation, presentation, and demonstration of technical solutions to senior management and engineering teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Make sure that the most suitable technologies to solve business problems are selected.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor our solutions performance, ensuring our SLOs (service level objectives) are met. Assist in designing dashboards to monitor SLIs (service level indicators) and help design quarterly goals to improve them.
- Enterprise Architecture: Design and refine the enterprise architecture to streamline operations, reduce redundancy, and minimize latency, errors, and exceptions. Create long-term strategic plans to minimize the number of solutions used, thus maximizing efficiency. Validate team technology proposals. Weigh risks and tradeoffs.
- Collaboration & Education: Act as a central point of contact for product and engineering teams, facilitating integration and API discussions to extend our supply solutions and improve partner integrations. Leads the architecture board, ensuring the increase of technical talent density. For cross-team projects, ensure that everyone has a solid understanding of the target solution.
- Documentation & Influence: Assist in creating key documentation (PRDs, RFCs, ADRs, C4, ERD, Sequence Diagrams). Act as a coordinator, ensuring consistency across teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage and support customer and partner communications, detailing the implementation, performance, and analytics capabilities of our platform.
- Travel: Occasionally travel to meet with stakeholders, participate in integration workshops, and foster strong relationships with senior management, product, and engineering teams.
Required qualifications:
- Deep Technical Expertise in System Architecture
- Cloud & Infrastructure Knowledge (at least one of AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Excellent Communication & Collaboration
