Staff Product Manager, Document Experience
PandaDoc is hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead the next evolution of our document experience—redefining how users create, refine, and complete their documents through connected, intelligent, and adaptive workflows.
In this strategic, hands‑on role you will drive cross‑functional initiatives that make document creation seamless, editing powerful yet intuitive, and automation meaningfully helpful. You’ll guide multiple squads, translate emerging technologies into cohesive product systems, and balance experimentation with disciplined execution.
In this role, you will:
- Lead high‑impact initiatives across document creation, template authoring, and collaboration experiences.
- Shape cohesive experiences across the document lifecycle—connecting creation, editing, and completion into a unified flow.
- Integrate AI, automation, and agentic intelligence thoughtfully across document surfaces to make authoring, styling, and workflow setup more intuitive and context‑aware.
- Leverage AI and rapid‑prototyping techniques (e.g., vibe coding, prompt‑driven UX simulation) to validate and iterate on new experiences quickly—using tools such as Replit, Figma, or Lovable.
- Partner with design, engineering, and platform teams to deliver scalable, adaptive systems through APIs, integrations, and data models.
- Collaborate with other senior PMs to ensure cohesive end‑to‑end user journeys across PandaDoc’s lifecycle.
- Define and evaluate success through usability, adoption, and time‑to‑completion improvements.
About You
- 5+ years of hands‑on product management experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in document creation, productivity, or collaboration products.
- Familiarity with document systems, structured content, and cross‑format editing models (PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or AI‑generated).
- Comfortable with AI/ML product development—prompt iteration, feature evaluation, and monitoring metrics like accuracy, reliability, and latency.
- Experience in integrating AI and automation thoughtfully into UX, focusing on real user outcomes rather than standalone features.
- Understanding of agentic AI systems—how autonomous, context‑aware agents can assist users across creation, editing, and workflow execution.
- Skilled in rapid iteration and discovery using prototypes, AI‑assisted tools, and live experiments.
- Strong communicator who can simplify complexity, frame trade‑offs, and align cross‑functional teams.
- Pragmatic and adaptive—balancing experimentation with clear prioritization and delivery discipline.
- Comfortable partnering with deeply technical teams to define APIs, integrations, and data models that scale.
Must‑Haves
- Direct experience building and shipping AI/ML‑powered product features (e.g., LLM‑based assistants, smart recommendations, automation, or generative UX).
- Hands‑on familiarity with vibe design / vibe prototyping workflows—using AI tools to rapidly prototype, test, and refine product experiences.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2C or B2B SaaS product management, ideally with exposure to collaboration or productivity platforms.
