Oczekujemy

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or KIBR) started or completed will be a strong asset.

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in accounting, ideally within an international corporate environment or a "Big 4" firm.

  • Deep and thorough knowledge of accounting procedures (local GAAP and/or IFRS) and tax regulations.

  • Proficiency in English and Polish (both written and verbal), with the ability to explain complex financial issues to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail combined with a high-level business perspective.

  • High self-motivation with a "can-do" approach and a focus on process automation/optimization.

  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Zadania

  • Perform complex monthly cash and escrow account reconciliations, ensuring high accuracy and proactive resolution of discrepancies.

  • Lead the accounting for complex transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and Build-to-Suit projects. Prepare advanced journal entries and comprehensive reporting files.

  • Independently reconcile third-party financial statements with the Company’s books, identifying and solving accounting gaps.

  • Analyze and manage intercompany and related-party transactions, overseeing reconciliations and ensuring proper eliminations.

  • Prepare detailed balance sheet analyses and in-depth income statement variance/fluctuation reports to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.

  • Responsible for the preparation of local GAAP financial statements (micro/small entities) and serving as the primary point of contact during statutory audits.

  • Full responsibility for VAT return preparation, filing, and ensuring all other tax-related obligations are met.

  • Respond to complex ad hoc reporting requests from Asset Management, Treasury, Legal, and Tax departments, acting as a trusted advisor.

  • Drive the forecasting process and conduct advanced actual-to-budget analyses to support strategic decision-making.

  • Proactively identify, design, and implement process improvement projects to enhance efficiency within the Accounting department.
