The Role

We are seeking a fully qualified, consulting-level professional with extensive experience and a comprehensive understanding of their field. This individual will frequently contribute to the development of innovative processes and methods, utilizing their judgment within broadly defined policies and practices. They will demonstrate detailed knowledge of their professional discipline and employ various techniques to solve complex problems, requiring thorough analysis of multiple factors. The role involves providing resolutions to a diverse range of complex issues.

The Main Responsibilities

• Prepare forms, schedules, statements and the associated workpapers for the international components of the US Corporate Income Tax Return, including Forms 5471, 8858 and 8865.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of CorpTax and its associated functions.
• Assist the international tax planning team with document requests.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate taxation in a complex multi-jurisdictional corporation.
• Ability to identify automation opportunities and implement identified strategies.
• Exceptional ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
• Prepare US federal corporate book-to-tax adjustments.
• Prepare and assist with various components of the federal tax provision with technical understanding of ASC 740.
• Assist with state tax return preparation when necessary.
• Understanding of US tax reform and implications of these changes.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Fully seasoned with typically 5+ years professional experience with a Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and experience or 2-3 years with a Masters Degree.
• Understanding of US tax reform and its implications.
• Technical understanding of ASC 740 and experience in preparing and assisting with various components of the federal tax provision.
• Experience in preparing forms, schedules, statements, and associated workpapers for the international components of the US Corporate Income Tax Return.
• Proficiency in using various techniques to solve complex problems, requiring analysis of multiple factors.
