This is an excellent opportunity to join Ciscos fastest growing product in DSE Routing group that champions new methodologies and creates scalable software solutions. We are looking for multiple experienced Software Engineers who can strive in a dynamic start-up like environment, work with an expert and diverse team, participate in architecture design, software, and tools development across geographies.

What will you do:

1. As part of a diverse Cisco IOS XR team, you will play an integral part in the software development process. A successful candidate for this role can be flexible, quickly learning new skills and taking responsibility for tasks and features.
2. You will be solving new problems and tackling new challenges every day, with a focus on quality and attention to detail, supported by a team of fellow engineers to deliver new functionality and improvements to our customers.
3. You will be developing a new feature or a fully automated test, investigating a problem, or using our test tools to ensure that our software is always high quality. Technology that you work in could be in Programmability, Routing Infra, etc.
4. Design, Develop, Automate, and Execute new HW or Features across complex Network Architectures using C/C++ language.
5. Define and qualify End to End / Solution Architectures, engage in debugging complex network problems and define solutions.
6. Work on Network automation, algorithmic thinking and Analytics applications derived from customer use cases.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BTech / MTech in CS/CE or related field with 4-7 years validated experience.
2. Service provider, data center technologies and architectures.
3. VMs and virtualization technologies.
4. Deep understanding of networking protocols and different L2/l3 to L7 technologies.
5. Automation experience with Python, GO, Tcl, REST, Junit, Jenkins.
6. Experience in all phases of SW development cycle with some exposure to agile development methodologies.

Desired Skills:

1. Excellent code solving skills, familiarity with Linux and modern software tools and techniques for development/debugging and validated software design and development skills.
