Collaborating with our cross functional teams - Global Category Management team, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, and Clinical Teams, and reporting to the VP- Surgical BU, you will have the opportunity to:
Business/Marketing Strategy and Planning:
•Develop product strategy based on customer understanding, industry knowledge, market insights, and collaboration with sales teams. This includes product positioning, lifecycle management, and activities to boost sales, profitability, and growth in response to market needs and competitor developments.
•Collaborate with clinical, global, and regional teams to create compelling customer value propositions, clinical differentiation, and claims, ensuring a sustained sales pipeline and market share growth.
•Lead regional portfolio and price positioning recommendations, identifying cost improvement needs based on market positioning.
•Understand demand changes and long-range planning (LRP) trends, liaising with the global team for supply updates.
•Monitor sales, field reports, pricing levels, and competition, working with regional stakeholders and the marketing team to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.
Operational Performance:
•Collaborate with regional teams for tender data and product updates.
•Align with legal and regulatory teams on safety laws and market changes, addressing product issues promptly.
•Liaise with supply organization to improve forecasting and costs, participating in sales and operations planning.
•Maintain product and collateral in sample warehouse and administration software (MDM/PDH SAP and Oracle systems).
Customer/ Market Insights:
•Serve as the regional point of contact and product expert, supporting and educating stakeholders.
•Oversee data/research to understand customer needs, contributing to global research.
•Engage with regional teams in OR and product trials to capture customer feedback and inform category strategy.
•Maintain strong connections with customer-facing teams to ensure insights lead to market-fit solutions.
Product rejuvenation and Innovation related activities:
•Align with the global team on innovation and product rejuvenation.
•Oversee market commercialization, engaging sales teams and distributors
•Ensure timely product launches and changes; identify customer needs and new product opportunities for growth.
•Support sustainability and social impact goals through product design and programs.
•Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
Ansell is looking for a Sr Manager, Regional Category Management, Surgical EMEA to join our team in Krakow, PL.
In this position you will play a vital role in overseeing brand and product management activities, including program activation and growth opportunities. You will manage product portfolios, pricing, new product development, competitor intelligence, and promotional activities, while expanding the HSS business and supporting regional teams. Leveraging local market knowledge, you will integrate regional insights into the global strategy and partner with the commercial team for effective execution, acting as the customer-facing representative for marketing needs.
