About This Role

As a Senior Analyst II in Post‑Activity Compliance Monitoring, you will join our GBS Compliance Control Tower team in Warsaw, Poland, focusing on Compliance Monitoring activities. This role involves conducting compliance monitoring for business activities, assessing adherence to internal processes, SOPs, policies, and external industry guidelines. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that Biogen maintains high standards of compliance and governance. You will collaborate closely with business, including Compliance Officers and Standards & Governance Officers across various geographies, facilitating necessary follow‑ups and reporting results regularly.

This position also involves providing training and guidance to new team members, managing higher‑complexity cases, serving as a key resource for team support, and taking ownership of outcomes to ensure quality results. Reporting and monitoring KPIs and metrics will also form a significant part of your responsibilities, aligning with established SLAs.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct compliance monitoring for business activities under the compliance scope.
  • Assess adherence to internal processes, SOPs, policies, and external industry guidelines.
  • Document outcomes and results in appropriate systems effectively.
  • Build strong connections and service‑oriented support with business including Compliance Officers and Standards & Governance functions to facilitate required follow‑ups.
  • Ensure timely completion of monitored samples and support other geographies and functions.
  • Lead onboarding training for new joiners and provide informal guidance to team members.
  • Maintain GBS process‑related documentation, including work instructions and job aids.
  • Elaborate comprehensive reporting to communicate results effectively at different levels.
  • Collaborate on governance of key compliance processes and track KPIs to provide insights.
  • Investigate and implement enhancements to compliance monitoring activities proactively.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or other relevant education
  • A minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in a compliance monitoring role or similar, ideally in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Compliance Program requirements or experience in other business governance roles (e.g., Audit, GxP)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret requirements and assess their impact
  • Ability to work independently and guide the team
  • Expertise in investigating and analyzing improvements and corrective actions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well‑organized with excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PPT, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Fluency in at least one other language is an asset

This role is in a hybrid work model. Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
