  • We have an opportunity for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join us at Honeywell Aerospace in Krakow. You will help create breakthrough innovations that will ensure Honeywell’s leadership position and take a technical leadership role in creating system solutions for the SGN (Sensing, Guidance and Navigation) team that will meet the long-term evolving needs of our customers.
  • This a chance to work on one of the most successful products for Honeywell in the segment, and to further grow your expertise while dealing with existing and new innovative projects. Being one of the technical leaders in a growing site is an exciting opportunity to develop new partnerships on the local market and witness the growth of the team developing relevant products.
  • This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

responsibilities :


  • Contribute to project planning by providing time estimates, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of technical tasks.
  • Develop and maintain embedded/application software (C, C++, C#, MATLAB), including requirements, architecture, coding, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Design and execute tests, including test cases, procedures, scripts, and both informal and formal test runs.
  • Support documentation and certification efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and processes.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and exploring new technologies to enable continuous improvement and performance gains.

requirements-expected :


  • University education with major in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 7 years working experience as Embedded software developer/ engineer, ability to code in multiple languages. Experience or knowledge of airborne surveillance functions (TCAS, Transponder, UAT) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of software development processes and best practices, experience with defining software architecture.
  • Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS and Atlassian tools. Experienced in communication via ethernet.
  • Any of the below is a huge advantage: knowledge of commercial airborne standards including RTCA DO-178B, scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python).
  • Excellent command of English language.
