We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that cooperates with one of our Norwegian clients.

responsibilities :
Design and plan SQL Server deployments for scalability and reliability
Deploy/design native SQL solutions for cloud environments
Maintain and update SQL Server instances, including feature updates and security patches.
Plan and execute upgrade and migration strategies with minimal downtime
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application operations, networking, virtualization, and security, to deliver integrated solutions
Troubleshoot technical issues in SQL Server environments
Assist customers with performance optimization and tuning
Provide technical support to customers and end-users on database-related issues
requirements-expected :
Expertised in designing, deploying, and maintaining SQL Server environments for scalability, reliability, and security
Experienced in implementing native SQL solutions for cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructures, including Azure, AWS, and on-premises environments
Proficient in planning and executing upgrade and migration strategies with minimal downtime, ensuring seamless transitions for mission-critical systems
Experience with automation tools and processes
Adept at troubleshooting complex SQL Server issues, optimizing performance, and tuning queries to meet business requirements

ITIL Foundation or equivalent
