About the Role

Main goal: supporting the process of acquiring and protecting copyrights for publications and supporting cooperation with contractors. Fulfilling contractual obligations (copyright contracts, contracts of mandate).

Key Tasks

• searching for holders of intellectual property rights and negotiating remuneration
• preparing and handling contracts and payment documents in accordance with current legislation and company procedures
• controlling and handling contractual obligations
• administering personal data of co-workers
• ensuring proper document circulation
• archiving documents
• ensuring the completeness and correctness of data in dedicated systems
• internal and external customer service
• cost estimation
• keeping abreast of changes in legislation affecting the performance of assigned duties and proposing updates to processes/document templates
• other instructions from the supervisor relating to the work of the department

About You

• university degree
• experience in copyright clearance and contract handling
• knowledge of copyright legislation
• knowledge of basic tax law
