Job Purpose
Responsible for executing promotional and marketing activities in collaboration with distributors and PHINIA commercial teams to drive local market growth. This role will predominantly focus on executing promotional activities to enhance sales, increase brand presence across the local market, and drive customer engagement and visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade marketing: Facilitate collaboration between product marketing and commercial teams; execute marketing plans in the field to drive local market growth; act as an internal advocate for customer needs and insight; design and execute localized sales campaigns; track, analyze and report campaign effectiveness, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Customer engagement: Actively engage with direct and indirect customers; develop actions to support product visibility and sales performance; respond to customer information and support requests and involve other teams as needed.
- Sales enablement & external communications: Manage Point Of Sale materials, merchandise, promotional items, newsletters, brochures, flyers, and external presentations; lead market communication of New-To-Range (NTR) and First-To-Market (F2M) products; manage merchandising and promotional giveaways; collaborate with regional Brand & Communications Manager to create promotional material; execute digital marketing actions to enhance online engagement and conversions; deliver product training to sales teams/customers as required; tailor content to local audience needs with high accuracy.
- Event & Trade Show Management: Organize training events and dealer activations; plan and coordinate national and local industry events with regional Brand & Communications Manager; organize and manage internal events with regional Brand & Communications Manager.
- Sales & marketing performance analysis: Track and analyze campaign performance, sales data & customer engagement; develop actions to drive continual improvements; provide insights to optimize trade marketing investments; analyze and report turnover impact by customers/International Trading Groups.
- Price management: Contribute to local price list development and management in collaboration with regional Category team to ensure regional consistency and adherence to pricing strategy.
- Press & media management: Implement activities to enhance brand and product visibility within key media; collaborate with regional Brand & Communications Manager to ensure regional consistency and adherence to PHINIA’s media processes.
- Continuous improvement (CI): Identify and lead CI opportunities in the local market(s).
What We’re Looking For
Education/Experience – Required
- 5+ years in trade marketing, channel marketing or sales support within the automotive aftermarket or industrial sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Experience in retail, B2B marketing and sales channel support.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including sales teams, dealers and marketing agencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools and data analysis software.
- Fluent in English; proficient in building customer relations and loyalty.
- Strong analytical abilities with a data-oriented approach; capable of presenting and communicating effectively with customers.
- Experience of social media marketing and content creation.
- Open minded with high level of enthusiasm and energy; commercial mindset; self-starter and highly motivated.
- Must own a valid driving license; flexible approach to travel.
Education/Experience – Preferred Skills
- Bi-lingual.
- Technical understanding of the automotive industry and aftermarket.
- Experience of working in a global and cross-matrix organization would be an advantage.
