Specialist of Transport Steering Inbound

• Monitoring time-critical transport routes and routes with performance issues, and finding suitable solutions with interface partners (suppliers, disposition, goods receipt, and transport planning) in case of bottlenecks
• Supporting the material management in finding suitable partners for special trips (especially air freight) and keeping tracking and developing the performance of frame contract partners
• Making the performance of transport service providers transparent based on the collected transport data and case-specific individual analyses
• Using data out of MAN Control Tower to identify deviations and finding early-stage solutions to guarantee supply for vehicle production
• Developing the transport service providers overall performance and involve, if needed, transport planning and procurement
• Actively helping to develop standard processes
• Identifying gaps in the MAN processes and systems and address these to colleagues in process optimization and digitization
• If necessary, you may be involved in the implementation of a transport control function within the framework of a MAN Control Tower
