Specialist Engineering (SRE)
Location: Cracow
Contract Type: B2B
Salary: 170PLN/hour - 200 PLN/hour
Work Model: Hybrid (Once a week from the office in Krakow)
Responsibilities
The SRE team member will be responsible for driving and developing
infrastructure capabilities within the OB cloud solutions that will provide
automated functionalities that will be resilient and self-serving in nature.
They will be well versed in AWS cloud having experience on creating and
maintaining the cloud infrastructure. They will create and maintain the CI/CD
infrastructure, the application and network infrastructure, configure security
controls for the OB platform. They will work with the IT system analyst,
Engineering team and SRE engineers to understand the requirements and
translate the requirements into various capabilities that will allow reduction
of toil and automation of routine tasks. The engineers will also be
responsible for ensuring the monitoring and alerting framework which will
allow the SRE team to detect issues on the platform and mitigate them in a
timely and efficient manner. They will keep up to date with the latest
developments in AWS services, IaC, CI/ CD and automation solutions.
Detailed day to day activities:
• Use Terraform to create IaC that can be used to create the platform
infrastructure in a consistent and repeatable manner.
• Create and maintain the necessary CI/CD infrastructure to allow the IaC
to be delivered to various markets for rolling out Open Banking
platform.
• Ensuring that all services are fully compliant with internal controls.
• Create, maintain and tune the necessary monitoring frameworks that
will be used to monitor the health of the production platforms.
Skillset Technical:
• AWS DevOps skills (Route 53, VPC, S3, IAM, EC2, ELB, RDS, EKS, Lambda,
API gateway, AWS Session Manager)
• Jenkins Automation
• Terraforming AWS environment stack build
• Linux, Nginx, & Squid administration
• Python or Node and Shell Scripting
• Logging & Monitoring tools like Splunk, App Dynamics, CloudWatch
• ALM tooling – Jira, GitHub, Confluence
• Strong understanding of security concepts
• Strong networks skills with understanding of Subnets, Firewall, IP
ranges, CIDR blocks, routes designing, NACLs, application clustering,
load balancing and high availability concepts.
• Understanding of IAAS, PAAS, FAAS concepts, server and application
configuration concepts and technologies.
Non-technical:
