Under the sponsorship of Capita Group’s Chief Data Officer, a number of key strategic Data workstreams have been implemented to assess and improve Capita’s data infrastructure and capabilities. This covers all aspects of the Data Life-Cycle, from Data Management, Data Quality, Data Security, Analytical capabilities and the skillsets of our Data workforce within the business.
The purpose of this role is to work on one or more of the clearly defined Workstreams within Capita Experience to help coordinate and improve our Data activities. Success of the role is clearly measured through improvements in Capita Experiences Data Maturity framework scores, which are based upon the industry-standard DAMA (Data Management Association) framework.
Job Description
The Group Data workstreams are wide and varied, covering all aspects of the data and technology life-cycle within the business. Some examples are listed below, however, this is not an exhaustive list which will change in line with business priorities. Qualifications:
- Strong and extensive background in Data Management within an Enterprise
- organisation
- Experience independently managing a portfolio of projects
- Specialism in at least one Data discipline, for example:
- Data Governance Knowledge: Understanding data governance principles
- and compliance regulations
- Data Management: Proficiency in data architecture, data modelling, and
- data quality assurance
- Other Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with database systems, ETL
- (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data analytics tools
- Ability to clearly articulate detailed requirements to both Senior and Technical
- stakeholders in a meaningful and understandable way
- Self-reliant and resilient – enjoys freedom to create, manages uncertainty and navigates changing environments
- Experience of operating in a large-scale customer contact centre / out-
- sourcing environment; experience of working with and delivering to multiple
- clients & stakeholders is paramount – both at a senior and detailed level
- Strong experience working in a large and complex Enterprise organisation –
- Preferably in a multi-geography structure
- Strong Problem-Solving experience - The ability to troubleshoot issues and find
- innovative solutions is crucial.
- Experience and comfortable working with Senior Stakeholders
- Experience of ability to balance multiple priorities
- Strong experience in the Microsoft stack

The right to withdraw consent at any time is not affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
