Offer Description

The main scope of duties

  • Preparation of Ł-ICiMB applications for the granting of funding within research projects from national and international funding sources.
  • Establishing contacts and building long-term, effective business relationships with industry and research institutions in Poland and abroad.
  • Participation in research and development activities at Ł-ICiMB.
  • Development of offers and scopes of research and development work, as well as independent execution of such work.
  • Maintaining documentation related to research and development activities.
  • Compliance with the quality policy and the principles of impartiality, independence, objectivity, and confidentiality.
  • Continuous development of theoretical and practical knowledge related to the performed tasks.
  • Improving professional qualifications and pursuing scientific development.
  • Operation of laboratory equipment within the Environmental Monitoring Research Group.
  • Performing auxiliary tasks related to the operation of the Environmental Monitoring Research Group as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Master’s degree or higher education with at least one year of experience in the research and development sector; preferred fields of study: chemistry, biochemistry, environmental engineering, environmental protection, chemical technology, or related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of English or another modern foreign language at a minimum B2 level.
  • Knowledge of basic analytical techniques.
  • Stress resistance and ability to work under time pressure.
  • Willingness to undertake business travel.
  • Good command of MS Office.
  • Valid and active Category B driving license.
  • Fluent command of the Polish language.

Additionally, the candidate must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Participation in at least one scientific or industry conference with a minimum national scope (e.g. poster presentation, oral presentation, participation in a panel discussion).
  • Authorship or co-authorship of at least one scientific publication, industry report, or analysis relevant to the institute’s research directions.
  • Experience in the implementation of research and development projects, e.g. participation in an R&D project as a team member.
  • Active involvement in projects related to the implementation of research results or cooperation with the business sector.
  • Participation in at least two specialist training courses.

Additional Information

  • Remuneration will be determined in accordance with the Employee Remuneration Regulations, Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials.
  • Additional benefits: social benefits and others will be determined in accordance with the Employee Remuneration Regulations, Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials and with Project Regulations.
  • Employment contract for a trial period of 3 months (with the possibility of further employment).
