Space Systems Engineer (Regular)

Your responsibilities

Specific areas of expertise

This recruitment is for a few vacancies that require expertise in the following areas

•Knowledge and practical experience in EMC and RF fields

•Knowledge and practical experience with Power subsystems

•Knowledge and practical experience with software and encryption for embedded solutions

Responsibilities:

•Leading systems engineering efforts in satellite projects throughout the entire system lifecycle

•Performing mission and system level trade-off analyses

•Preparing and oversight of technical documentation

•Technical management of subcontractors and partners within project consortiums

Our requirements

• Solid understanding of space systems (at least 3 years of experience in space industry in relevant projects);
• Fundamental technical understanding in the following domains: electronics, mechanics, thermal control, software (including FPGA), orbital mechanics;
• Well established understanding of systems engineering processes;
• Hands-on experience in requirements definition and management using Doors-like requirements management tool
• Experience in creating technical documentation according to ECSS;
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure;
• Very good English in speaking and writing.
• Experience in working on systems with flight heritage (TRL 9);
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE);
• Practical experience with MBSE;
• Experience in working with European Space Agency, European Commission and European Defense Agency.
