We are now looking for a Sourcing manager for East Europe, located at Romania (or countries decided later) to join the Procurement team of Metso Aggregates Equipment Business Area.
As a Sourcing manager for East Europe, you will have the responsibility for the sourcing and supplier management of defined suppliers in the responsibility area. Your duty is to secure growth, competitiveness, sufficient supplier network and sustainability at Aggregates Business Area. We are aiming to strengthen our sourcing actions and suppliers network at East Europe and your main purpose is source new suppliers from Romania and countries close by. You will be responsible for new suppliers sourcing of steel fabrication, components and castings & forgings within the Aggregates business area. You will also lead sourcing strategy development, deployment and supplier management as to deliver maximized total cost of ownership savings and to secure competitiveness.
You will maintain and improve supplier relationships and be responsible for supplier’s quality and delivery performance. You will manage existing suppliers and their contracts and negotiate new contracts when needed.
You will ensure compliance of our procurement policies and develop procurement’s performance by maximizing business results. You will work closely with category responsible persons in our supply chain, factory sourcing teams, engineering, product management, R&D teams within Metso.
This role requires traveling up to 50% of the work schedule.
Job office location is in Romania (or countries decided later).
You should have several years of experience in procurement and sourcing, preferably in an international business environment. A good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management is essential. Experience with manufacturing processes related to steel fabrication, welding, assembly, machining, and foundries is highly valued, along with prior experience in category management.
Your workstyle is self‑reliant, accountable, and determined. You have an analytical mindset and you do not hesitate in reaching ambitious. Your collaboration and communication are great, and you have convincing negotiating, and influencing skills.
