ABOUT YOU
You are passionate about understanding the business and customer needs to influence improvement of the business with focus on customer satisfaction. For this role you have a university degree in Economics, Logistics, Business Administration or relevant working experience from strategic sourcing. You bring min 3 years working experience from sourcing or procurement environment and experience in developing business development roadmaps. You have experience in contract management, negotiations, business analysis and project management. You have a good understanding of profit and loss and how to affect its result through personal actions You have good knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing the logistics fulfilment industry.
You have knowledge in following areas:
- good business understanding and good knowledge of last mile distribution, warehousing operations and service business leading to an excellent customer fulfilment,
- purchasing of last mile distribution and warehousing services,
- excellent knowledge of the customer and co-worker needs, demands and expectations on the markets,
- end-to-end orientation: ability to apply analytical process-oriented thinking including planning and maintaining work process,
- very strong analytical capability to enable translation of business and customer needs into development initiatives,
- market & industry intelligence,
- change and stakeholder management,
- supplier relationship management,
- financial competence and understanding of the financial impact on total network,
- advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform complex calculations, simulations, and data visualization,
- experience with usage of tender tools (preferable SAP Ariba),
- fluency in Polish and English.
As a person you have excellent collaborative mind-set in building relationships across the organisation and having influence and personal impact by using good communication and negotiation skills. Your respond to business and customer needs is strong and you have an end-to-end orientation and the ability to act within the global framework in order to achieve local/country/organisation goals.
ABOUT THE JOB
The purpose of the role is to take direct responsibility for the sourcing category of last mile distribution (bulky and parcel) and warehousing securing fulfilment on the country in an end-to-end perspective by enabling the prerequisites for excellent quality in execution:
- blended sourcing options,
- make capacities available for Customer Fulfilment whenever and wherever needed,
- secure long term development and preparedness for growth as per market penetration plan
- IKEA as a preferred partner.
In this role you will contribute to creating the right prerequisites in the organisation to enable the growth agenda and secure the global and country Customer Fulfilment agenda is translated into the Strategic Sourcing organisation.
You will be:
- responsible for developing sourcing strategies, securing long term sourcing development and implementation for customer fulfilment capacities utilising blended sourcing options through driving the Fulfilment Development Process in the country,
- responsible for managing the entire purchasing process, including sourcing suppliers, defining business needs and specifications in collaboration with relevant departments, conducting calls for tender, and finalizing contracts with selected service providers. Responsible for managing the supplier portfolio, evaluating suppliers, and developing supplier relationship,
- supporting an implementation of zero-emission deliveries across the country,
- responsible for creating and executing a cost-saving strategies within the managed sourcing category,
- responsible for driving the process for building market intelligence, for the development of blended sourcing options, for the development of a healthy pool of potential service partners and for long-term supplier relationship development in the country to secure capacity for growth and enable IKEA to be considered as a preferred partner in the market,
- responsible for securing seamless cooperation with a customer-centric, collaborative, end-to-end and process-oriented mind-set towards both country and group Functions and other stakeholders,
- responsible for ensuring the right information flow and effective communication throughout the organisation and for the alignment with the Group Organisation and other business partners and stakeholders,
- responsible for leading assigned sourcing activities, projects and initiatives in the country and responsible for securing that the results meet the actual goals connected to the growth plan,
- as an expert in strategic sourcing, responsible for sharing knowledge with colleagues and business partners to support their competence development,
- responsible for the implementation of the Global Sourcing Process in the country including the group legal contract package and for the management of all assigned contracts in the country securing compliance of all contractual obligations,
- contribute to the global improvement projects and the development of global and country sourcing process, ways of working, tools and working method,
- contribute with strategic sourcing related knowledge and insights to the design and development projects of other country functions especially for Fulfilment Development and Network,
- responsible for ensuring that the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda is included in all aspect of the business directly connected to and influenced by Strategic Sourcing.
