About the project

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join our client's team and support large-scale, mission-critical IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise architecture, proven experience in designing complex software systems, and the ability to lead both technical and business stakeholders.

International working environment

Remote work + occasional visits in Warsaw office (up to 5 times per month)

Your responsibilities

Design and communicate enterprise-level software system architectures
Define standards for design, development, quality, and testing
Translate business, user, and technical needs into system architectures
Map business goals, benefits, priorities, and system features into technical solutions
Ensure interoperability and integration with other systems
Plan system capacity and security aspects
Estimate and size software development work packages
Prepare system documentation and deliver presentations to stakeholders
Lead development teams and guide development processes
Select and evaluate technologies, monitor system performance, and optimize for security, quality, and efficiency
Facilitate workshops and meetings with both technical and managerial stakeholders

Our requirements

Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field
Minimum 8 years of relevant professional IT experience
Minimum 5 years of project experience as Solutions/Systems Architect or in a similar role
Proven role as key architect in at least 2 large-scale software systems
Minimum English proficiency at level B2
At least 2 relevant certifications, such as: TOGAF Certified or equivalent master-level certification in software architecture; Certified UML Professional (foundation level); other internationally recognized equivalent certifications
Expertise in systems architecting and enterprise software design
Knowledge of UML and system modeling tools (e.g., Sparx EA, ARIS Architect, others)
Experience in software development methodologies (RUP, ISO12207, Agile)
Databases, application servers, middleware, web servers, GIS, directory services, BI, IDEs, and Microsoft platform security expertise
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and notations (TOGAF, ArchiMate, BPMN)
Experience with EA management tools (LeanIX, BizzDesign, Alphabet) and business process optimization tools (Signavio, ARIS)
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
