The IMS Solution (Pre-Sales) Architect is a key contributor to the sales effort in the Infor Managed Services organization. A growth area within the Infor organization, Infor Managed Services (IMS) plays a pivotal role in supporting our client groups, helping them navigate the complexity of modern-day business applications.
The (IMS) Solution (Pre-Sales) Architect sits at the heart of engaging our external client/prospect organizations, delivering solution orientated outcomes to ensure the ongoing success of Infor customers.
responsibilities :
The IMS Solution (Pre-Sales) Architect is responsible for designing and presenting the corresponding solution - (leveraging all Infor teams like marketing, account teams, solution consulting, third parties):
Promoting and leading meeting with prospects or established clients
Designing and building tailored value propositions, developing deal timeline and ensures that proposal team meets deal milestones and deadlines and proactively managing all resource requirements throughout deal proposal
Developing and substantiating a winning value solution that meets the needs of the customer, including analyzing critical business drivers and risks
Working with delivery to assure that solution design can be property delivered
Elaborating contract statement of work or RFPs answers (not a bid manager role, a real contribution is expected)
Contributing to the negotiations and contractual phases for the large deals
requirements-expected :
Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly and changing environment
Demonstrable experience in software or related industry in sales or presales or solution consulting
Real ability to think “out of the box” and propose disruptive approaches
Proven ability to establish long term customer relationship, self-positioning as a trusted advisor
Deep understanding of the ERP ecosystem (partners, competitors, on premises, cloud)
Highly developed interpersonal skills to work as a team member and customer liaison
Sales attitude and proven sales process knowledge
Proficiency in written and spoken German required
