About project

Currently we are looking for Solution Architect  with Java  knowledge who will join a team working on projects for our Client- leading global liner shipping company. This innovative solution will revolutionize the way they provide geofence events, status events, and GPS information to customers.

As a Solution Architect youll be responsible for designing, driving and aligning the application solution design within the existing IT system landscape.

The office is in Gdansk and because of taking care of the good team spirit and integration between coworkers, the work is in a hybrid model.  Scope of remote work to be determined. (Office visits could be once every two weeks, therefore candidates from the Tricity are preferred.)

Possibility of 100% remote work.

Tasks

• Design and participate in development of Java EE/Spring Boot  applications based on Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design  concepts
• Collaborate with fellow solution and enterprise architects to design, develop and ensure our application solution design follows established company guidelines
• Optimize solution design for performance, scalability, security, and reliability
• Maintain and facilitate discussion around architectural decisions repository for given solution
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software engineering to introduce innovative approaches and technologies

Requirements

• Min. 5 years  of experience on similar position
• Good knowledge of Java EE/Spring Boot 
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL Databases
• Strong focus on software quality
• Good experience developing application in Cloud  environment AWS-EC2, Faregate, ECS, Lambda, IAM
• Knowledge to ensure application solution design across the different development phases
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Strong knowledge of Clean Architecture, Event Driven Architecture, Domain Driven Design, API Design Principles
• Relevant certifications in software engineering or cloud technologies
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe  methodologies
• Experience in international logistic context would be good
• English  on an advanced level (written and spoken)-C1
