Your Role

The Solution Architect serves as a technology advisor to Lead Architects, Projects, System Owners, and Process Owners. They ensure that relevant architecture principles are adhered to and that architecture-related directions are aligned and followed across the project portfolio and related activities, in cooperation with other solution architects across various solution areas. The Solution Architect is involved in driving, training, and supervising professional teams within and across projects, change requests, and other relevant activities related to the specific solution area, ensuring collaboration among all relevant parties.

Additionally, the Solution Architect is responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of both the current and target architecture within the solution area, thereby supporting the IT strategy. They act as a role model within LEO Pharma, advocating for the Enterprise Architecture principles, IT Compliance, and IT Security, and promoting the mindset that accompanies these principles.

Primary Work Tasks:

1. The solution architect has relevant SAP Basis knowledge and supports specification and validation of solutions for projects, change requests, and incidents and if relevant take part in execution of projects, changes requests, and other relevant tasks.
2. Responsible for setting the strategic direction for the solution area architecture in the context of Lead Architect guidelines.
3. Responsible for aligning solutions with roadmap(s) together with Lead Architects and relevant people outside of Global IT.
4. Give architectural supervision and decision support within and across relevant activities for relevant solution area.
5. Participate in projects, change requests, and other relevant activities as SME, and if needed as developer, to provide solution specification, validate outcomes and when relevant take part in execution.
6. Engage as architect to improve templates, standards, and reference architectures and ensure adherence.
7. Engage with and support vendor delivery teams.

Your Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Experience working with SAP Basis related to all SAP Systems and Solution Manager.
2. Experience with implementations, upgrades, and project work.
3. Experience working with many aspects of BC/CA components.
4. Experience with and understanding general SAP PO admin (Java system administration), SLD, CTS+, Java object handling, Certificate handling/trust setup etc.
5. Experience with hosting, or similar vendor management.
6. Experience working with IT and business and if needed able to push back in a professional and diplomatic manner.
7. Contributes proactively to the development of own professional discipline.
8. Approach initiatives with a consultancy mindset and clearly communicate the value of our suggested initiatives.
9. Ability to proactively analyze and drive complex issues and significantly improve, change or adapt existing processes and systems.
10. Master’s degree, B.Sc or other relevant education/training in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
