We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Solution Architect to join the External Web Platform product line team located in APAC Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) Team in Kuala Lumpur .

About the Solution Architect:

You will be reporting to the Section Lead Solution Architecture - Foundational Technology & Infrastructure . This position provides a backbone for building Roches presence on the internet by delivering platform capabilities required for the external publication of web content. It bundles a complementary set of products that can be leveraged in combination with each other as a foundation for robust, modern, and secure internet-facing portals and applications.

Our platforms host various types of portals and sites, including portals for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Patients, affiliates, promotional, and event websites.

We rely on leading market solutions like Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, and Storyblok, complemented with a state-of-the-art toolchain to ensure the best Developer Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design global platforms according to enterprise standards and provide the best developer experience.
2. Conduct architecture reviews of existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement.
3. Research, evaluate, and adopt new technologies through proof of concepts.
4. Design non-functional requirements and conduct implementation reviews to identify gaps between design and code.
5. Develop architectural strategy and roadmaps.
6. Seek opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes.
7. Architect, build, maintain, and operate enterprise-grade systems/applications.

Qualifications:

We need a passionate person who has:

1. 7+ years of relevant experience (software development, integration, architecture design).
2. 3+ years of hands-on experience with traditional and headless Content Management Systems (preferably Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Storyblok).
3. Experience in architecting, designing, and developing external-facing portals using both traditional and headless approaches.
4. Strong collaboration and influencing skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire.
5. Analytical, logical problem-resolution skills.
