We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Solution Architect to join the External Web Platform product line team. This position provides a backbone for building Roches presence on the internet, delivering platform capabilities required for the external publication of web content. It bundles a complementary set of products that can be leveraged in combination with each other as a foundation for robust, modern, and secure internet-facing portals and applications, which can be easily implemented and maintained.

Our platforms are used to host various types of portals and sites including portals for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Patients, affiliates, promotional, and event websites.

We rely on leading market solutions like Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Storyblok, complemented with a state-of-the-art toolchain to ensure the best Developer Experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing global platforms according to enterprise standards and providing the best developer experience.
2. Architecture review of existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement.
3. Research, evaluation, proof of concepts, and adoption of new technologies.
4. Designing non-functional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and code.
5. Developing architectural strategy and roadmaps.
6. Seeking opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes.
7. Experience in architecting, building, maintaining, and operating enterprise-grade systems/applications.

Qualifications:

We need a passionate person who has:

1. 7+ years of relevant experience (software development, integration, architecture design).
2. 3+ years of hands-on experience in traditional and headless Content Management Systems (preferred Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Storyblok).
3. Experience architecting, designing, and developing external-facing portals using both traditional and headless approaches.
4. Strong collaboration and influencing skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire.
5. Analytical, logical problem-resolution skills.
