requirements-expected :
You have over 10 years of experience in software engineering, including 3–5 years focused on solution and enterprise architecture for large-scale, high-traffic consumer and e-commerce platforms.
You have deep domain expertise across checkout and payments, order management (OMS), ERP systems, PIM, CRM, loyalty programs, online marketplaces, tax and fraud systems, and global e-commerce (multi-region, multi-currency).
You have led the design and delivery of systems serving millions of users monthly, achieving 99.9%+ uptime and meeting strict latency targets (p95 APIs under 300ms).
You practice C4 modeling and ADR documentation, designing scalable microservices and event-driven systems, and are a strong advocate for API-first development (REST/GraphQL) with contract testing, versioning, and backward compatibility.
You have hands-on experience with edge performance and CDNs, including Akamai and Cloudflare—managing cache keys, TTL/SWR, image optimization, and WAF/bot defenses, with proven improvements to TTFB and Core Web Vitals.
You have driven frontend performance improvements, achieving LCP under 2.5s, INP under 200ms, and CLS below 0.1 through SSR/ISR strategies, code-splitting, optimized image delivery, and strict third-party script governance.
You are proficient in cloud and Kubernetes environments, including AWS EKS (and GKE/AKS), Istio/service mesh, GitOps with ArgoCD, and progressive delivery (blue-green, canary releases, feature flags), with experience executing zero-downtime migrations.
You have strong skills in data and system integration, including SQL performance tuning (Postgres, MySQL), NoSQL schema design, Redis caching, event streaming, webhooks, and building idempotent, reliable workflows.
You lead security and compliance initiatives, conducting threat modeling sessions, implementing OAuth/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC, secure secrets management, and ensuring OWASP, GDPR, and PCI compliance with minimal scope exposure.
You define and track SLOs and error budgets, implement full-stack observability with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and Sentry, and regularly conduct load and performance testing using tools like k6, Lighthouse, and WPT.
You have experience with AI tooling for improving development productivity and building MCP servers to expose context to an Agent (LLM), which is a plus.
You thrive in a MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) architecture and enjoy building modern eCommerce platforms.
You have strong experience with Python (FastAPI, Pydantic) and Next.js, building and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
You’re confident working across cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Vercel) and managing infrastructure as code with Terraform, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
You have hands-on experience with messaging and event systems (Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS) and understand DLQ, idempotency, and retry patterns.
You know your way around databases — PostgreSQL (indexing, migrations, tuning), DynamoDB (PK/SK, GSIs/LSIs), and Redis (caching, rate limiting, task queues).
You bring practical DevOps and CI/CD experience, with strong Git practices and familiarity with testing, linting, and code quality tools (Black, Ruff, SonarCloud, Jest).
You care deeply about security — from OAuth2/OIDC, secrets management, and least privilege, to WAF/CDN (Cloudflare, Akamai) and dependency scanning.
You’re comfortable using monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog and Sentry to ensure reliability and performance.
You speak fluent English.
