We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support the migration and architecture of cloud solutions in Azure.

Solution Architect (Azure) - 0.7 FTE
Your responsibilities
- Gather and analyze information about the current solution through stakeholder meetings, documentation review, and assessment of business requirements, impact, and criticality.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to performance and availability during migration of workloads.
- Design robust Azure architectures, incorporating components such as Virtual Machines, VNets, NSGs, SQL databases, Firewall rules, monitoring, backups, and high availability setups.
- Validate architectural designs with the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team and application stakeholders.
- Deploy architectures in Azure and plan workload migration windows, including preparation of necessary Change Requests (CRs).
- Execute workload migrations, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring performance.
- Provide potential hypercare support during and after migration phases.
Our requirements
- 12+ years' experience
- Hands-on experience with tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure Bicep.
- Direct experience in migrating workloads from VMware to Azure Native VMs.
- Professional experience working with cloud solutions, especially in large enterprise environments.
- Possess relevant Azure certifications, including AZ-700, AZ-104, and AZ-305.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Clear, concise, and effective communicator, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in leading projects, including progress tracking, communication, and task execution.
- Strong initiative with the ability to work independently, creating and executing tasks with minimal supervision.
