As a Solution Architect, you’ll be responsible for designing and delivering integration architectures that enable conversational and voice AI experiences across ERGO Group’s digital insurance platforms. This role requires technical understanding of contact center systems, cloud-native architecture, and integration with complex enterprise ecosystems, including both on-premise and cloud components.
You’ll collaborate closely with enterprise architecture, development, and security teams to ensure that all solutions are scalable, compliant with DORA/VAIT, and aligned with ERGO’s governance standards. Your work will focus on pragmatic delivery, helping cross-functional teams bring intelligent automation to life in a secure, compliant, and efficient manner. You’ll act as a bridge between multiple stakeholders, working in cross-functional agile environments to deliver strategic capabilities in contact center modernization and AI enablement.
designing and delivering integration architecture that connects bots (chat/voice) to insurance services like claims, underwriting, and policy servicing
leading the technical definition and documentation of architecture solutions and security countermeasures in coordination with ERGO’s internal frameworks
building integration layers across on-premise systems and AWS-based cloud services using APIs, message buses, and serverless technologies
ensuring all architecture meets regulatory and compliance standards, specifically DORA and VAIT
collaborating with telephony and contact center teams to design solutions for call routing, voice flows, and hybrid voice/chat environments
documenting solutions including architecture decisions, risks, tech debt, and requirements
using ArchiMate to create models as part of your architecture documentation
engaging in cross-functional delivery across product, engineering, operations, and vendor teams
supporting development teams by explaining architectural designs and providing reference implementations or technical spikes when needed
driving architectural consistency and integration quality across large-scale digital transformation projects
requirements-expected :
fluent spoken and written English
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience in a related field
min. 6+ years’ experience in software architecture and enterprise system integration
proven delivery of solutions in large-scale, cross-functional IT projects, ideally in regulated environments (insurance, banking, etc.)
hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, especially AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Step Functions, etc.)
strong understanding of web application integration, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture
working knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, and orchestration
good understanding of contact center systems and telephony infrastructure—call flows, SIP, IVR logic, etc.
experience in modelling, documenting, and maintaining living documentation in Confluence or similar tools
solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills, ability to explain architecture to developers and non-technical stakeholders and preparation to present review boards to enterprise architecture
comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions in enterprise-scale, matrixed environments
