The Global Analytics & Data Products Team is looking for an Application Architect/Tech Lead to join our team. Your mission will be to identify, design, and implement data products across Stellantis software ecosystem, promote engineering best practices, and ensure high data quality standards.

Given our fast-paced environment, priorities can change, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Oczekujemy

• BA/BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the data engineering and software development life cycle.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining production data applications, with experience in both relational and columnar data stores.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Rust.
• Extensive experience with Big Data platforms (e.g., Spark, Google BigQuery, Azure, AWS S3).
• Familiarity with time series databases, data streaming applications, event-driven architectures, Kafka, Flink, and more.
• Experience with workflow management engines (e.g., Airflow, Luigi, Azure Data Factory).
• Expertise in designing and implementing real-time pipelines.
• Strong focus on data quality and validation.
• Experience with API design.

Extra Points For:

• Certification in AWS or other cloud providers.
• Experience with Databricks notebook workflows.
• Proficiency with Terraform.

Zadania

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design for data solutions for both internal software platforms and external customers.
• Develop secure, scalable, high-performance, and robust data services for connected vehicle data using modern Big Data technologies.
• Collaborate with various technical teams to make informed technology and architectural decisions, driving implementation and influencing departments outside your own to create mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Oversee efforts to implement and maintain consistent instrumentation across software platforms and features.
• Create end-to-end processes for standardized troubleshooting, supported by comprehensive documentation (e.g., runbooks).
• Resolve blockers creatively and integrate seamlessly into multiple processes and workstreams to achieve goals.
• Foster relationships with key partners and stakeholders to manage upstream and downstream dependencies effectively.
• Support and mentor team members to ensure their professional growth and the teams success.

Top Performers Will Demonstrate:

• In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts, including data architecture, operational data stores, interface processes, multidimensional modeling, master data management, and data manipulation.
• Expertise in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and iterating data pipelines using Big Data technologies.
• Proven track record of working on cross-functional teams and leading initiatives to build data services from the ground up.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand complex business challenges and offer effective solutions.
