Sr Recruitment Consultant at Leap29 - Renewable Energy

Leap29 is excited to present a fantastic opportunity with a leading global renewables company specialising in sustainable energy solutions. We are seeking a talented Solar PV Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for overseeing the technical coordination and due diligence of solar PV projects across Central and Eastern Europe. From conception to long-term operation, youll ensure the feasibility, quality, and performance of each project, working closely with project managers, operations teams, and commercial partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Oversight: Lead technical due diligence, site surveys, energy yield simulations, and design optimization for solar PV projects.
2. Design & Planning: Support the team in creating detailed designs, technical simulations, and preliminary plant layouts for RFQs, permitting, and construction phases.
3. Contractor Management: Assist in contract negotiations with EPCs, contractors, and consultants, providing technical support throughout the process.
4. Project Management: Collaborate with Project Managers to define execution strategies, control costs, and resolve technical issues during deployment and O&M phases.
5. Quality & Compliance: Perform quality checks, compliance audits, and monitor QHSE standards during the deployment and operational phases.
6. Performance Monitoring: Manage performance testing, verify EPC and O&M reports, and advise on operational best practices to ensure optimal plant performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
2. 5 years engineering experience, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Solar PV.
3. Strong knowledge of PV design, simulation software (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope), electrical systems (LV & MV), and AutoCAD.
4. Fluent in English; additional languages (Czech, Bulgarian, Hungarian, or Slovak) are a plus.
5. Experience in PV O&M or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is an advantage.
