responsibilities :
Firmware Testing for embedded systems according to the Phoenix Contact stage gate process
Testing of firmware for embedded systems, like power distribution systems / circuit breakers for industrial applications according to company standards
Maintenance, Testing, troubleshooting and identifying bugs according to the V-Model of FW development
Close cooperation with other teams in the matter of development of hardware and software
Requirement review, test case and test plan creation
Developing your skills in the areas needed for your work (opportunity for career development towards a developer role)
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Computer Science, Automation Control and Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related)
3+ years of experience in Software/Firmware testing or embedded development
Excellent written and spoken English (min. B2 level)
Good knowledge of C and Python
Knowledge of µC ARM Cortex M
Experience with white-box and black-box testing
Practical experience with embedded systems,
Knowledge in the use of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools.
Willingness to occasionally travel to the company headquarters in Germany for trainings and project coordination
